Our objective is to enhance our position as the largest producer and marketer of shell eggs in the United States. To achieve this goal, we are pursuing the following strategies:

Continue to Pursue Acquisitions

We will continue to evaluate and selectively pursue acquisitions that will expand our shell egg market share capabilities without expanding the national supply of eggs.  We have extensive experience identifying, valuing, executing, and integrating acquisitions and we intend to leverage that experience in the evaluation and execution of future acquisitions.  We will seek to acquire regional shell egg businesses that have significant market share and long-standing customer relationships.  We believe that enhancing our national presence will help us further strengthen our relationships with existing customers which have operations across the United States.

Continue to Increase Sales of Value-Added Specialty Shell Eggs

Through exclusive license agreements with Egg-Land’s Best, Inc. in several key territories and our trademarked Farmhouse brand, we are the leading producer and marketer of value-added specialty shell eggs.  We plan to increase our sales of value-added specialty shell eggs in two ways.  First, we intend to capitalize on the strong growth in the market by increasing our production of Egg-Land’s Best TM and Farmhouse branded products.  Second, we intend to pursue acquisitions that expand our specialty shell egg market share.
